The refurbishment of this 9,300m² Grade II Star Listed Building included changing its use to high quality air conditioned commercial offices from its former use as a library. Each area had to be considered separately with detailed consultation between the Design Team, Planning Authority and English Heritage to achieve the objective of providing a building with engineering services designed to meet current institutional standards.
