• Perinatal Building, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge

    Addenbrookes Hospital exterior entrance

Our specialist acoustics engineering team provided the full range of acoustic consultancy on this new building at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Among our contributions were; environmental surveying, façade and ventilation acoustic advice, acoustic advice on internal walls, floors and doors, and reverberation modelling and advice on suitable acoustic treatments for the central Pavilion area. Particularly sensitive rooms include the birthing suites, neo-natal intensive care unit and special care baby unit where privacy and control of intrusive noise is paramount.

The Addenbrooke project is still ongoing and further Acoustic testing is due to take place in the coming months.
