This high quality shopping centre provides 14,300m² of retail units. The retail malls were designed to maximise natural daylight and are naturally ventilated to reduce energy consumption. The development also includes 379 one and two bedroom residential apartments, of which 100 form part of the borough’s affordable housing scheme.
In addition to the retail and residential elements, a new library / information centre was developed and a fitness centre. An existing Beales department store also benefited from a major refurbishment and expansion.
