Our recently refurbished London office – the Living Lab – offers a direct link to clients, the ability to further develop our existing relationships and to pursue future opportunities across the city. We also have full view of some of our most iconic designs, including 20 Fenchurch Street ‘the Walkie Talkie’ and 30 St Mary’s Axe ‘The Gherkin’ from our river café space.

We are seeking to employ a proactive and enthusiastic Facade Access to join our expanding team in London.

As an experienced professional who ideally holds professional accreditation or is actively pursuing it, you will bring an extensive portfolio demonstrating your expertise and capabilities.

You will deliver your design services within a diverse and challenging range of design projects. Your project range Will vary, demonstrating experience across a range of different scales, complexity, sectors, and geographies.

Our Operational Buildings team optimise our clients’ buildings to be consistently desirable to tenants. And the key to this is maximising flexibility and occupant comfort.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with Clients, Architects and the internal Hilson Moran team to identify options and to develop the façade access and maintenance strategy for each project.
  • Conceptual design, scheme design and preparation of tender packages for façade access services.
  • Cleaning cycle calculations.
  • Provision of approximate structural loadings as required.
  • Preparation of reports at key stages of projects and as required.
  • To undertake site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of installation works.
  • Site survey and specification of modernisation / replacement works.
  • Attendance at demonstration tests.
  • End of defects inspections.
  • Façade Access Equipment maintenance audits.
  • Working at Height risk assessments.
  • Attending/ Chairing review meetings with contractor and client.
  • Condition surveys.
  • Lifecycle plans.
  • Providing technical support to clients.
  • Procurement of maintenance contracts.
  • Preparation of specifications for new installation or replacement BMU projects.
  • Management of works packages.

Background & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Façade Access (Cradle) service provider.
  • Experience in Façade Access installation company.
  • Experience in Engineering services inspection company.
  • Experience in Health and Safety.

 

 

Skills:

  • Proficient with solid communication skills, including presentation skills for internal and external meetings.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in required software.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently.
  • Effectively manages time and priorities. Ensures that information presented to your key contacts within your team meets an appropriate standard and is within the allocated timeframe.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders through professional communication and responsiveness.
