We are seeking to employ a proactive and enthusiastic Facade Access to join our expanding team in London.
As an experienced professional who ideally holds professional accreditation or is actively pursuing it, you will bring an extensive portfolio demonstrating your expertise and capabilities.
You will deliver your design services within a diverse and challenging range of design projects. Your project range Will vary, demonstrating experience across a range of different scales, complexity, sectors, and geographies.
Our Operational Buildings team optimise our clients’ buildings to be consistently desirable to tenants. And the key to this is maximising flexibility and occupant comfort.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working with Clients, Architects and the internal Hilson Moran team to identify options and to develop the façade access and maintenance strategy for each project.
- Conceptual design, scheme design and preparation of tender packages for façade access services.
- Cleaning cycle calculations.
- Provision of approximate structural loadings as required.
- Preparation of reports at key stages of projects and as required.
- To undertake site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of installation works.
- Site survey and specification of modernisation / replacement works.
- Attendance at demonstration tests.
- End of defects inspections.
- Façade Access Equipment maintenance audits.
- Working at Height risk assessments.
- Attending/ Chairing review meetings with contractor and client.
- Condition surveys.
- Lifecycle plans.
- Providing technical support to clients.
- Procurement of maintenance contracts.
- Preparation of specifications for new installation or replacement BMU projects.
- Management of works packages.
