We digitally model spaces in order to enhance design, simulate and pre-test to promote comfort, safety and wellness within the physical parameters of buildings. The greatest impacts of our work are often invisible, because our projects are designed to perform while using minimal energy and carbon resources.
Our design philosophy and performance-testing are people-focussed. We place emphasis on the end-user experience and social impact by evidence-based analysis and modelling, allowing design teams and clients to make informed decisions.
We prioritise healthy, energy efficient environments that operate as high-quality, legacies of exemplary design. And we constantly drive positive impact and innovation. Our ongoing benchmarks for success include the reduction of energy use, a reduction in both operational and embodied carbon emissions, enhancement of local biodiversity, resilience to climate change, and a decrease in the demand and use of the planet’s natural resources.
30 St Mary Axe is a building for which we provided a multitude of engineering services. And we’re still involved 20 years on. It set a new standard for future-focused high-rise energy efficiency, and it continues to outperform its peers and newer buildings. Its success and our continued engagement in performance optimisation are a testament to our quality and commitment to service.
